Urban Technology Change Consulting was founded by Lionel Urban, a mortgage industry veteran with over 30 years of mortgage banking experience to financial services companies seeking to profit from today’s surge in home finance business. He is an expert in the management of the mortgage lending enterprise as well as mortgage origination, operations, secondary marketing and compliance roles within banks, credit unions, and independent mortgage bankers.
Today, Mr Urban serves as Principal & Chief Consultant at Urban Technology Change Consulting. In this role, he helps mortgage lenders create technology and mortgage lending roadmaps, assists with vendor vetting and selection, and technology acquisition and implementation. He works closely with mortgage-focused business process outsourcing firms to implement customized, fully outsourced mortgage lending departments for banks and credit unions of all sizes.
With over 100,000 hours of mortgage lending technology experience we understand the impact of automation for all lending roles and how to leverage systems to streamline their responsibilities.
